Hi, My name is Aaron Johnson

I am a freelance traveling photographer based in Cleveland, Ohio, who specializes in Fine art portraiture and event photography, with 4 years of experience in live event and portrait photography.

My photography journey began at an early age, around 15 years old. Strange story, I was in my room playing a video game called Life is Strange, and while I was playing the game, I really loved the aesthetic of the game, including the photographs that were taken by the main protagonist in the game. While playing, I came across these names that were mentioned in the game: Robert Capa, Louis Daguerre, and Richard Avedon. My all-time favorite photographer is Robert Capa, who was a war photographer and photojournalist. One of his greatest artworks that I enjoy looking at the most is titled “The Falling Soldier”, which was controversial and very impactful.

My philosophy is "Every Moment is Worth a Shot" Because as people we tend to have a moment with ourselves or with our loved ones but they are only temporary in life, but it doesn't have to be like that when it's in a photograph physically or digitally as if we are keeping a hold of something precious to us for a lifetime.

My work is conceptual, authentic, and abstruse because the purpose of my work is to convey a message to my clients who are Introverts and neurodiverse that no matter how fatuous my projects are, it’s about the moment and the feeling that they were able to let out or show during a photoshoot, and better yet, making them more authentic and confident in themselves. In addition to that, my studio is a free space where my clients can be themselves
